This raffle is conducted under the State of Wisconsin Raffle License # R0032598-A-81827
All prizes will be awarded in the form of Scheels Gift Card for the value of said “won” firearm. Furthermore, the amount of sales tax that would be added if you choose to purchase that firearm from Scheels, with your awarded gift card, will be included on the gift card. All winners that choose to purchase a firearm with their awarded gift card will be subject to Federal Firearms Regulations. Long gun winners must be eighteen (18) years of age. Pistol winners must be twenty-one (21) to redeem gift cards for handguns.
Wisconsin’s Division of Gaming has advised WTA that no other persons may be substituted for the winner of a prize to circumvent this requirement, including parents. WTA is not responsible for winner’s inability to obtain a firearm in accordance with any local, state or federal regulations, and no alternate prize or compensation will be offered. You would then just need to use your gift card for a non-firearm related purchase that does not require federal firearm regulations.
Due to the availability of certain firearms, WTA reserves the right to substitute any firearm listed with an alternate firearm of equal or greater value. Values of prizes were set in March of 2025, any price increases or issues due to Tariffs or any other inflationary price increases are not the responsibility of the WTA. The set amount of the awarded gift card is final. No exceptions to this rule apply.
Names of winners will be published online at www.wisconsintaxidermistsassociation.com following the drawing. WTA members will make reasonable attempts to notify winners based on emails, phone numbers and addresses in the days following the drawing. If notification is not able to be made after three attempts, and one month has expired since the drawing, the prize will be considered forfeited.
All prizes will be awarded as a Scheels gift card for the value of the prize including sales tax. This can be used for any merchandise at Scheels.
WTA reserves the right to cancel the raffle and return all monies collected to the purchasers of the raffle should a minimum of 1500 tickets not be sold by July 31st.
